  • 400 — invalid or incomplete input (for example, missing required date bounds)
  • 401 — authentication failed
  • 403 — authenticated but not allowed to access the resource
  • 429 — rate limit exceeded (for endpoints with a quota)
  • 5xx — unexpected server error; retry with backoff when safe
