# List recent channel conversations

> Returns conversations from messaging channels within a lookback window.

Searches channels that include any of the authenticated member's active
org-member identities. `last` sets the lookback window (max `24h`). Pass
`channelId` to search a single channel.

Rate limited to **30 requests per UTC calendar day** per member token.

**last** `string` *required*

Lookback window ending at request time, in the form `Nm`, `Nh`, or `Nd`
(minutes, hours, or days), for example `30m` or `12h`. Maximum `24h`.

**channelId** `string`

Stream channel ID (any org and location tokens in it are hash-encoded).
When set, only this channel is searched. The token member must have
access to it.

## Errors

| Status | When |

| `400` | Missing or invalid `last` (or other input) |
| `401` | Authentication failed |
| `403` | The member has no org-member identities, or can't access the requested channel |
| `429` | Daily request quota exceeded (30 / UTC day) |
